Advanced techniques and software tools for Reliability and Risk Analysis

The central focus of the research activity is on the development of new techniques for RAMS and Risk Analysis.

A strong contribution was given in the framework of the DYLAM and STARS Projects in collaboration with the Joint Research Centre of EU with the study of algorithms for the automatic construction of Fault Trees, the implementation of advanced tools for reliability and safety studies.

More recently the contribution to two National Research Projects (PRIN) led to the investigation of uncertainties in risk analysis.
