Laboratories



Two research infrastructures are available for the lab activities:

SEADOG DENERG

SEADOG DENERG is a laboratory, inside the PoliTo Energy Dept. were modelling activities and studies are performed by the team (professors, researchers, students and visiting scientists). The laboratory provides a documentation center, computers and data banks.

SEASTAR WT (visit site here) 

Experimental activities and model validation are performed in the SEASTAR WT. It is a atmospheric open wind tunnel designed to test safety and environmental simulation models, sited in the Environment Park in Torino. In is characterised by a large test chamber and a wind speed range of 0-7 m/s.

These two laboratories have been founded by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE) in the framework of a research program for oil&gas off shore safety and energy transition.
